Writer Brent Larkin (“For Josh Mandel, no gutter is too deep, no shot too cheap”, Aug 3) faced this choice: address the facts, or write a partisan hit piece. He chose the partisan hit piece.
For consistency, will Mr. Larkin assert that the Coalition for Jewish Values, representing hundreds of Orthodox Rabbis, similarly “sides” with “white nationalists, Nazi sympathizers… and other hate groups?” We independently criticized the Anti-Defamation League “Alt Lite” list as Josh Mandel did, and for the same reason.

The venerable ADL is being dragged off course by a new Executive Director with no experience addressing anti-Semitism and a long pedigree as a left-wing activist. Mr. Mandel’s criticism was accurate and constructive. If Mr. Larkin’s slander is the worst they can find against Josh Mandel, he’ll be an honorable Senator.
