In a post on the Anti-Defamation League’s website entitled Six Proactive Strategies to Prevent Anti-Israel Activity, students are reassured about “[T]he tremendous resources and support you have right on your campus: fellow students and faculty, Hillel, Chabad, and pro-Israel activists from organizations like J Street U…” Unbelievably, the ADL is under the impression that J Street U, the student organizing arm of J Street – which former Representative Allen West called a “pro-Palestinian Jewish org” – will somehow help pro-Israel students feel more supported on campus.
I understand how, due to lack of education, some don’t see the direct & obvious connection between anti-Israel & antisemitic bias. But on what planet is @jstreetdotorg, much less @jstreetu, going to be a resource against anti-Israel activity? They’re more likely to sponsor it.
