Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, recalled before the General Assembly that it had previously declared Zionism, “the right of the Jews to a national home,” to be racist, in a resolution that his predecessor, Chaim Herzog, tore up before that body. “And that is exactly what should be done to this antisemitic, distorted, one-sided report,” said Erdan, and then did so.
