CPAC 2022
March 2, 2022

The Conservative Political Action Conference, held in Orlando from Thursday through Sunday, provided many opportunities for CJV to share its message and increase its influence. Rabbi Menken attended on behalf of the organization, meeting with media and government figures, doing interviews, and advancing CJV’s mission. He also spoke with several interested potential interns, team members and supporters regarding CJV’s expansion plans.

Rabbi Menken gave two addresses, one as part of the Shabbat at CPAC program, where he followed radio host Mark Levin and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), and on a panel regarding antisemitism and the “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” field hosted by the Heritage Foundation. All other speakers, including former U.S. Envoy on Combating Antisemitism Elan Carr, were affiliated with Heritage, but the organizers felt CJV adds key information and authority on antisemitism.

Among the many interviews, Rabbi Menken met the team hosting Defenders LIVE, Dylan Liles and Steven Airey. They are part of a young generation of activists, and strengthening the attachment they and their audience feels towards traditional values is key to our mission. How did a rabbi with a white beard fare with two young interviewers hurling questions? You may enjoy this short teaser, the second time he sat down with them at the conference.
