The Coalition for Jewish Values has signed onto a coalition letter to U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona. Organized by the AMCHA Initiative, the letter urges the Department of Education to establish safeguards prohibiting federally funded Middle East Studies (or other area studies) programs from implementing an academic boycott of Israel (or any country) that would directly contravene the purposes for which the funds had been granted.
