Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), representing over 2,500 traditional, Orthodox rabbis in American public policy, today thanked President Trump for his Executive Order taking additional actions to combat antisemitism, including the removal of foreigners, even those on student visas, who support terror organizations and harass Jewish students. This executive action is a significant step towards ensuring the safety and security of American communities and campuses, and upholding the values of justice and peace.
“We commend President Trump for his commitment to protect our nation from those who seek to harm Jewish Americans” said CJV Southern Regional Vice President Rabbi Moshe B. Parnes. “We are especially grateful for the threat to remove aliens with student visas who instigate anti-Jewish protests and participate in unlawful violence, obstruction of students, and vandalism on campus. This sends a clear message that support for antisemitic hatred and bigotry will not be tolerated on American soil.”
The rise of global terrorism has posed a growing threat to the safety of citizens worldwide. Deportation of law-breaking aliens, especially those engaging in antisemitic harassment, will positively impact the security of campuses and communities across the country.

“As Orthodox rabbis, we know the inevitable result of hateful incitement,” added CJV Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice President Rabbi Yonah Gross. “This measure is a necessary step in ensuring that our educational institutions remain safe and free from the influence of terror organizations and anti-Semitic rhetoric.”
