The New York Times has hired Raja Abdulrahim to its Jerusalem bureau. Abdulrahim blamed Israel and the IDF for the actions of Palestinian suicide bombers who murdered hundreds, and argued post-9/11 that Hamas and Iranian-backed Hezbollah “are not ‘terrorizing’ Israelis, they are just defending their land and lives.” This is what the NY Times calls a “strong storyteller and writer.”
