Nearly five decades after Roe v. Wade was decided, the oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization were heard on Wednesday, December 1. The CJV joined other Jewish pro-life individuals and groups in an amicus curiae brief supporting a re-evaluation of Roe. A large dinner was hosted by Alliance Defending Freedom, bringing together those who filed amici with federal legislators and the Mississippi Attorney General. Rabbi Menken attended on behalf of CJV. The mood at the dinner was very positive.
