The Coalition for Jewish Values slammed the presidential candidate for saying if elected he would restore American aid payments to the Palestinians, which they use to pay terror salaries.

The Coalition for Jewish Values, a group of right-wing Orthodox rabbis that is also not part of the Presidents Conference, issued a press release calling the letter an example of “baseless slander, which is the antithesis of the Jewish values the signatories claim to endorse.”

The letter, sent to the Chairman, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations (COP) consists primarily of vitriolic attacks directed at the president of a COP constituent organization, attacks which the CJV dismissed as false and even bigoted.

DeBlasio’s singling out Jews as an ethnic group is repugnant.

“Our motivation was to protect the holiness of the Land of Israel, and cultivate traditional Jewish practices and beliefs,” Rabbi Pesach Lerner, president of the Coalition for Jewish Values and leader of the Eretz HaKodesh slate.
