The Orthodox Union, the Coalition for Jewish Values, Chabad-Lubavitch, the Union for Reform Judaism and the National Council of Young Israel will have representatives on the call, the organizations told JNS.

Over 150 received their invitations due to the efforts of the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), a two-year-old organization representing over 1000 traditional rabbis in matters of public policy.

All three demonstrated a clear awareness that Jews are the “canary in the coal mine,” the first (and not the last) to be targeted by hateful regimes and groups.

The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), representing more than 1,000 traditional rabbis in matters of public policy, quickly and strongly fired back. The group commended the government of Israel Thursday for blocking entry to Omar, D-Minn. and Tlaib, D-Mich., under the Israeli law that bars entry to noncitizens who advocate for a boycott of Israel. Meanwhile, the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), which represents over 1,000 traditional rabbis in matters of public policy, commended Israel’s decision to refuse entry to the two congresswomen.

Both congresswomen are sponsors of a resolution claiming that boycotting Israel is ‘pursuit of civil and human rights’ while comparing Israel to Nazi Germany. Their hatred will not be cured by meetings with the Palestinian Authority, which generously supports those who murder Jews.

While organizations like Never Again Action have been protesting around immigrants’ rights and detention conditions, some Jews and Jewish organizations don’t feel the same way. “Their misuse of Jewish values and identity is truly painful,” said Rabbi Yaakov Menken, managing director of the Coalition for Jewish Values, in a statement emailed to the Sun Sentinel.
