Under CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, the ADL has denounced speech free of partisan censorship. The ADL never questioned whether it was “time for Twitter to go” when it kept Louis Farrakhan and the Ayatollahs of Iran on the platform, but giving Donald Trump his account back, well, that was clearly a bridge too far. In Greenblatt’s words, it showed that new Twitter head Elon Musk is not “remotely serious about safeguarding the platform from hate, harassment and misinformation.”
As we've said before, Trump used Twitter to foment intolerance, issue threats and incite a violent attack against the US government. Moreover, he has shown no indication that he would do anything different if given the opportunity.

.@elonmusk's decisions over the last month have been erratic and alarming, but this decision is dangerous and a threat to American democracy. We need to ask — is it time for Twitter to go?

Musk countered brilliantly, replying to the head of the Anti-Defamation League, “Hey, stop defaming me!”
CJV, of course, has frequently complained about the ADL’s partisan bias, and how this has hampered the fight against antisemitism, the ADL’s ostensible mission.
Rabbi Menken commented in this instance, “An ADL concerned about hate, harassment and misinformation, especially ertaining to Jews, would be vastly more concerned about @khamenei_ir (the Ayatollah Khamenei) and Louis Farrakhan having accounts than Donald Trump. This is irresponsible political grandstanding.”

Besides an audience now approaching 100,000 seeing this condemnation of the ADL on Twitter itself, Rabbi Menken’s comment was covered both by the Post Millenial and Red State.
