The innocent citizens of Western countries have been repeatedly victimized by countless attacks, in both Europe and the United States. Those calling for open borders are acting irresponsibly, and seem indifferent or blind to the previous results of the ‘open borders’ they are demanding.

The Rabbinic Board of the Coalition for Jewish Values dismissed the JTS position as contradicting both Torah and common sense, calling it a distortion of authentic Jewish values. Jewish principles expressly forbid catering to the few while endangering the safety of the many.

Any bigot who speaks or acts in a hateful manner, regardless of his political leanings, is clearly defying the President, his values, and stated positions, as well as the grand tradition of religious tolerance in America.

Calling the United Nations Human Rights Council “a mask for abuse and repression,” the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV) today called upon the Trump Administration to withdraw the United States from the UNHRC. Media outlets reported over the weekend that the Administration is considering dropping out of and halting funding to the Council.

The Coalition for Jewish Values today applauded President Trump’s reversal of transgender guidelines for educational institutions introduced by the Obama Administration as a “strong stance in favor of family values and common sense.”

President Trump has a long history of outreach and friendship with Jews, and “is perhaps the greatest friend the Jews have ever had as a president.”

It is surreal that Mr. Friedman has been assailed for his support of the right of Jews to settle in Judea, whence the very word ‘Jew’ is derived. Mr. Friedman brings an honest and realistic approach to Middle East diplomacy.
